About me.

Hello!
My name is Hanna Chatchenko, I am a certified psychotherapist, psychologist, career counselor and psychodiagnostician.
I've been studying psychology almost all my life, since entering university in 2008. However, I was interested in human nature and helping others even earlier because of my attention to others, empathy, and love of fiction and cinema. While still studying at the university, I chose Gestalt therapy as my main practical direction, and in 2015 I started my own psychotherapy practice under supervision.
In my work and beyond, I am sincerely interested in the lives of others and their individuality, so I am usually attentive and supportive. I believe that every person is unique and has the right to be themselves, so I have a wide acceptance of human diversity and individuality. I am also honest and sincere, but at the same time I am guided by the code of ethics of a psychotherapist and respect personal boundaries. On a regular basis, I have my own personal therapy, supervision, and intervision. Most often in psychotherapy I work with such topics as:
-
Psychological crises, loss of meaning in life
-
Self-realization and self-discovery
-
Moving and emigration, forced resettlement
-
Developmental trauma
-
Traumatic experiences and losses
-
Separation from parents and building boundaries
-
Self-esteem and self-acceptance
Since the first months of the war, I have been actively working with Ukrainian refugees, providing them with psychological assistance. Since 2022, I have been involved in various charitable projects in Ukraine and Poland. Today, I continue to provide psychological assistance at the eFkropka and Opora in Poland foundations.
I have also been actively involved in career guidance since 2015. In fact, my colleagues and I were among the first to modernize Ukrainian career guidance from Soviet vestiges to the modern way. I am the author of the Ukrainian version of the SDS-5 vocational guidance test for adults.
That's why, in addition to psychotherapy, I also do career guidance for adults and teenagers.
